ITec Projects can act as Planning Supervisor on behalf of
a client to ensure that all the requirements of the Construction Design
and Management Regulations are met.
By appointing ITec Projects in this capacity, a client can be assured
that all the relevant tasks and documentation necessary for site
planning and project operation are carried out and that the safety file
is compiled and maintained to meet those requirements.
As part of the planning supervisory role, risk
assessments for Health and Safety elements within the design and
construction phases are carried out ensuring that the necessary actions
to avoid risk are advised or put into place.
ITec Projects carries out Health and Safety risk assessments using
NEBOSH* qualified professionals. All method statements and assessments
submitted by Designers, Contractors and operatives alike are inspected
and approved prior to commencement of any works.
Where required, risk assessment can be applied on a project control
basis by identifying the elements within the construction phases that
may impact on the quality of the installed works, the critical path for
the works and eventually the possible effect on the overall project
cost. These elements can be continually assessed and monitored such that
any impact is reduced or controlled to minimise or eliminate the effect
to a business critical facility.
